Rebecca leads the Auckland Development Team who are solving how Transpower can undertake a major maintenance in Auckland over the next 30 years, while reducing the impact of their assets on the community, and remain flexible for a changing future. It will be the first strategy of its kind for Transpower. She is a high-profile energy leader known for connecting the dots, lifting team engagement and reputation, and getting things done. Rebecca joined Transpower in 2009 to deliver the environment components of the Auckland NIGUP (North Island Grid Upgrade Project) work, having held roles at Environment Canterbury, Opus, and in Not for Profit infrastructure development. Her last role at Transpower was leading the national Customer team, leading organisation wide change in customer service and commercialisation. She completed an MBA at Victoria University Wellington this year.
