Low-Carbon Distribution Networks

Low-Carbon Distribution Networks

This tutorial will provide insights into a myriad of distributed energy resources applications and how they can enhance both customers and utilities resilience. Examples of DER applications deployed by Vector, New Zealand (largest New Zealand distribution utility will be presented and there will be an opportunity to visit Vector’s 1MW/2.3MWh battery energy storage system. A world leading Internet of Energy (IoE) platform developed by mPrest, which is able to optimise the use of DERs, whilst seamlessly integrating several IT and control systems will also be presented.
