Cameron Chapman is the Network Innovation Engineer at WEL Networks, Hamilton. He is responsible for integrating emerging technologies into the existing distribution business including solar, battery, EVs and micro-grid automation.
Cameron joined WEL Networks in 2017 from a strong background in design, construction and asset management across the power generation sector. He has championed WEL Networks EV charger programme and is leading their micro-grid development. While at Genesis, Cameron lead the development of the asset management system using the Bowtie risk management framework. Cameron has a Master of Engineering Management and Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
